Our 8-lane competition-sized pool and children’s play/splash pool offer kids and adults of every ability to swim and have fun in a safe environment. Swimming lessons and other aquatic programs are available throughout the year at SRAC and are offered based on ability. Generally, we split age groups into 6 months – 3 years and 3 years – 12 years.
Pool Rules Updated May 1, 2014:
– Any child 48 inches or shorter will not be allowed to swim in the main pool without an adult that is 18 years or older.
– All swimmers who wear approve lifesaving devices must have adult in the main pool.
– All swimmers must wear a bathing suit. You will not be allowed to swim in regular street clothes.

Monday – Friday: 5:30am – 8:00pm
Saturdays: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Sundays: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Individual Swim Lessons
The Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics Center offers individualized swim lessons. Each participant will have a specific lesson plan to meet his or her needs. Sign up year round. 3 Lessons: Resident: $45, Non Resident: $60
5 Lessons: Resident: $85, Non Resident: $110

PLEASE NOTE: There will be a $10 administrative fee charged if you cancel out of swimming lessons or any other swimming program offered by SRAC. If the program/lesson is canceled by SRAC or Parks and Recreation, you will not be charged the administrative fee.
